1. No Dam or Penstock is required. The Turbine is submerged directly in the Riverbed and the natural beauty and environment are not impacted.

2. The Turbine and Electrical Generator are de-coupled. This allows the units to be physically separated and also allows Hydraulic Control of the System without affecting the water flow rate or river level.

3. In this System, Water enters runner (rotor/propeller) and exit without any restriction.

4. Alpha unit has ability to work with smaller head pressure with Moderate flow which is the biggest advantage over any other hydro-generating system.

5. By using a high efficiency, variable flow pump, large changes in the Water Stream flow and head can be accommodated without need to change major parts.

6. Alpha unit consists of a Turbine attached to a Novel hydraulic pump, that is located in the riverbed, canal or stream bed.

7. The hydraulic fluid is used to transmit the energy remotely to a hydraulic motor that is coupled to a electrical generator.
